show was good on Saturday ,, meet lots of people from the area. And people in town got to see what I do. Sat night we had a huge storm, trees came down on the farm and a panel on tent opened so everything got soaked and I had 5 broken items. We got there a little after sunrise to see how bad it was. Everything was everywhere, we decided to pack up and call it a day. I fixed stuff and dried things off. All I could think about Sat night was oh shit the fair starts in 1 1/2 weeks and most of my stuff is in a terrible storm, I am not going to have anything for the fair. Wasn't that bad but I didn't know. We pretty much slept and layed around the house Sunday. Been working really really hard to get ready so I am going back to work. check back later this week.

I did a small show tis weekend in my town. Mostly to let people see what I do and to let them know about the classes I teach. Well it was really hot during the day. I sold stuff and people seemed to be interested in the classes. That night we had the biggest storm I have seen in along time. Trees blew over at the farm and tents blew over at the show. Luckly for me my tent was standing and I only had a couple of pieces break. Not that I have time to do repairs but I think I was still lucky. It was suppose to be a two day show but most people showed up really early Sun morning and packed up .. I am off to mow before it gets to hot and then to the studio. have a great day.

the posts for the next couple of months my be infrequent, I am so busy but will tried to get here every couple of days :) I have one of the people that are going to watch the animals while we are at the fair this year coming this morning. I then have a ton of running around to do. My list a mile long. I am heading into Dubuque so you know that means I am actually going to put on makeup.. Say it isnt' so lol. After all of that I need to get into the studio and finish up the things I want to have for the show this weekend. Have a great day :)

just got back from cleaning up the fair house. It is always great to go up before the fair starts and see everything. Lots of changes this year , don't know if they will be good ones or not yet. Saw many friends , that is best part. All that needs to be done now is plant flowers and bring up product. I am hoping for a good year.

wow I didn't realize it had been that long since I posted last. I have been sooo busy here on the farm. Went to Chicago yesterday to visit the family. filled up the van and then went to Rockford to pick up a tent from Abby. Hi Abby and Frank :) didn't get home untill late and now I am headed out to feed the animal and clean out the van. I have to finish a fairy and get a picture of those darn beads lol. have a great day.

Made beads yesterday,, but they are in the kiln so you can't see them untill later :) I am doing some running around this morning ,, post office , bank and need to pick up hay and straw,, lol. Wow it has been along time since my last post:( The custom order was a sucess and so that is good. Made some spacers to go with them. Had Brian's sisters family up this weekend. It is nice to have company but I need a weekend off lol. Brian is not liking his job so send" love what you do" vibes his way please. I have a TON of stuff to do in the studio not to mention at the house. I am off to tend to the critters and then the pack the beads. Have a great day.
