I had a great weekend at the the fair, cool weather and good sales. We had the rescue rally this week and raise over 10 thousand dollars in one night :)~!!!!!!!!!. I will make that one of the weekends I come up next year. I had a couple of people looking at my shop. I don't plan on anything coming of it untill spring time but you never know. I got to see a show that I have never seen in all the years I have been doing fair :) and I will try to get to a couple of others this coming weekend. Leaving the fair is going to be bitter sweet so I am taking in all of the good things before it is over. I have a lot to do this week as I am leaving for California right from the fair next Tuesday. I will try to update from there if I can.

Two more weeks of the fair to go, I have been getting some inquirerys on my shop so that is good. Weather was great and sales were ok. I really took the time to enjoy the fair this week, there are going to be things I really miss about being there. Saturday we all went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings because Terry says we never do anything he wants to do :P so now he can't complain anymore lol. Then we went to the after hours fire and ice glass blowing demo at Shannons booth. There was also a great belly dancing show at the Pork and Blow going on at the same time so we spent some time at both shows. Sunday at the Pig they had the Rock and Roll night ,, good time had by all :) I finished all of my Monday paper work and I am going to head over to the studio to get the torch cleaned up so I can make beads this week. I did have a "what a small world" moment this weekend. I want to start out by saying that I never look at customers names on their credit card when I run them. I did for some reason look at a ladys on Sunday that was buying a fairy with her daughter. The name was Maloney,, I said "that was my old married name". She says "Sean"? I say yes,, She says "Erin" I say yes,, She says this is Allana,, I am Sean's brother Pat's wife Diana,, I go OMG,,, so Pat came over and we caught up on the news on everyone. I had not seen or talked to them in about twenty years. How crazy is that????

My daughter Erin went into labor on Tuesday morning early, her due date was the 25th. She had the baby at about 3:30 pst. Both are doing really well, the baby weighted 7lb 1oz and is 19 inches long. Her name is Willow Iliana. Erin is doing a great job with the baby , she will stay at the center for two months. This is so they can bond while she is in recovery. I am flying out on the 5th of Sept ,as soon as the fair ends. To spend some time with them. Thanks for the good wishes and e-mails. I will post pictures as soon as I great soome

With all of the things that go on in ones everyday life that we complain about. Remember most of the stuff is not important at all. Friends of mine ,,Skye and Dave, the best people , recently found out that Dave has a brain tumor. Came on very quickly , he is doing very well with treatment and they have hopes for recovery. Check out Skyes blog and don't sweat the small stuff.

WE have just pasted the half way mark of the fair this year. It feels like it should be about 7th weekend instead of the 5th but the money says we are at the 4th weekend. The energy is really down in all the shops. I let the office know that I am selling my shop , passed out flyers and had a couple of people come by and take a look. There are a bunch of shops that are on the market , don't know how many dispite all of the rumors. They are going to post all of the shops in the newsletter next week, should be interesting. I am looking at flights to California this week. Erin's due date is the 25th but she is already have some lite contractions. I plan on staying about a week. I am going to head up to CBS when I am there to pick up some new fusing glass. fun fun fun.

The heat wave looks like it has past now and we will be getting some cooler weather. I can not believe it is only the half way mark for the fair this weekend. It really seems like much longer lol. I let the office know that my booth is going up for sale. I made flyers and will pass them out this weekend. Hopefully there are alot of newbies that want to buy a booth. I am off to finish a couple of things before I head off. Have a great weekend.
