We are headed off to Dubuque to get Brian fitted for his tux. Tyler and Ashley are going to meet us for Brunch and I am going to Target :) Since I have started this change of eating I have lost 16lbs. The weather is finally changing so I need a couple of things. I am going to the studio when we get back. Have a great day :)

All in all we got about 3 inches of snow yesterday , argh :( I am so tried of winter and really ready for spring. At least I don't see much of it while I am in the studio :) and the torch kinda looks like the sun. Here is a spring picture

More snow falling this morning :( hopfully it won't stick to the ground. We had to drive to Freeport to get the parking brake for my truck. I was driving Monday and there was this clunking noise. Brian looked and didn't find anything. He backed up a little bit and then he heard a bunch of stuff fall out :0, it was my parking brake. You don't really need a parking brake but we are fixing it anyways. Always fun here on the farm :) Willow and I are off to the studio.

I had to ship my oxygen generator off to be fixed in New York. It has been acting up for about a week now. I have a new system that should be here soon so hopfully that doesn't effect production much :) I am going to have to suspend my classes right now. With the custom orders that I have and Tyler and Ashleys wedding not to mention spring being right around the corner :) I just have too much to do. I will let you know when classes will begin again.

It's snowing again here in Scales Mound :( This had better be the last one or I am going to lose it. Ok maybe not but I am so tried of this. Here are some spring flowers to help bring spring sooner :) I have been busy making beads for Vintaj, and working on custom orders too. I hope to have some new stuff on Etsy or my web site soon. crossing fingers :) My generator is acting up , so I have been dealing with that too. Have a great day. Spring we need you soon.

Yeah the pictures are there ,, for now :) let's hope they stay there.
I was in the studio yesterday making beads and listening to an audio book called "The Pilot's Wife" the wife in the books name is Kathryn Lyons, my maiden name is Lyon and my first name is Catherine. Very weird listening to your name being read in a book. I am off to Chicago in a little bit. My mom and I have to take care of some more banking in regards to my dad's estate. Can I say it again but I will be so happy when all of this stuff is taking care of. It is suppose to be in the 40's today :) so it should be great driving.

Willow and I went to our friend Tammy's house on Thursday to tend to her. She has had trouble with her ears and throat for a while now. The doctor decided to take out her tonsils. I have heard that getting your tonsils out as an adult is much worse that if you had them out as a child. She had a lot of pain the day after but said she already felt better :) Wilow got a fever while we where there. Brian was sick with the flu at home so it was just a matter of time before we got sick too. So now all of us are sick. And it snowed some more this morning. Spring where are you!!! Here are the pictures of the studio. I am going to take some meds and head to the studio.

The studio is finished and I have been working hard on my custom orders. I took some pictures of the clean studio and will post them tomorrow. It is cold here and I am tried of it ! :( we are suppose to get more snow this week.
I want to let you know about a great "new" author I have found. She has been around for a while and I have seen her books. I don't know why I never picked on up. It is Jodi Picoult and right now I am reading "Salem Falls" I won't give the story away but if you like Nora or Janet like I do I think you might like this writer.
